Adding a short update to let everyone know where I am in creating and launching my new podcast & blog. (see ===>)I have been working on and off the past 6 months (since my last blog) on creating my new podcast (Healthy Tips After 50). When I say “on and off” that’s because I joined a small group (5) of people who were being coached by the 2 people who run NAMS (Novice to Advanced Marketing Solutions) and the NAMS Insiders Group. NAMS Insiders is a great group with a wide variety of people in it who are all extremely supportive and knowledgeable. But I digress…
Back to the story at hand. After getting some great advice and help I did a reboot on my podcast and my website and started re-recording the few podcasts I had already done as well as my website show notes and eventually adding blog posts to the site too. I have created a free PDF of Healthy Tips to spread some my favorite health tips as well as to start gathering a list of people who are interested in hearing what I have to say.
It’s all great stuff but it’s taken me some starts and stops while I get over my own feelings of insecurity and unworthiness to be a success. I took some time to really look at myself, my life, and my career and saw when I started these issues and how I have created a pattern that undercut everything I had done.
I don’t think that you all need to hear about the gory details but I will say that I am determined to push past repeating it again with this favorite projectin my life. That being said I am letting you know that I am going to get this podcast launched by the end of this month (April 2019) and it doesn’t have to perfect before I do it. It just has to be good enough to provide some valuable information to people like me who are interested and willing to listen to what I have to say.
